I'm trying something new.  It may take a while before I figure out how to do it properly.
I forgot to number or letter the panels, so you'll just have to bear in mind that A. means the upper left panel and B. the upper right and so on.

A.     “Hello there, I’m Colonel Calculer,” the big man with the walrus moustache greeted Athena Cowl, “And this is my friend and associate, Chris Vogel.”
“Hello, it’s nice to meet you,” Athena returned, shaking hands with the Colonel.  “Thank you for requesting this meeting.   What can I do for you?”
B.     “Well, first of all,” the Colonel continued, “Thank you for agreeing to meet with us on such short notice.  I know you're probably very busy."
C.     Athena smiled.  She liked the Colonel immediately.
“We’d like you to help us tell a story,” Chris explained.
“What kind of story?” Athena asked.
D.     “Colonel,” Chris (whose nickname, should anyone want to know, was “the Goth”) turned to his friend, “I just realized this is going to involve more work than we planned for.  Are you prepared for an involved explanation?”  While Colonel Calculer pondered this, Athena wondered what she was getting into.
